Professional Service and Training
for Smooth, Reliable Production

GEDIS CONTROL SYSTEMS develops advanced industrial process control systems for the construction industry. Our solutions enable real-time production control, process visualization, statistical evaluation, and documentation ensuring efficient operations and long-term investment security.

IBS33W control system

The IBS33W control system offers a comprehensive software package with a high level of user-friendliness as standard. Individual configurations and special solutions are available upon request. Based on the market-leading operating system Microsoft Windows 10 Professional 64-bit, the IBS33W control system consists of a client application and an SQL database server.

The system is multi-user and multi-client capable and builds the operating system upon its network functionality. Furthermore, the system can be installed in multiple languages and is UTF-8 compliant. The software is modular and therefore easily scalable. An integrated release management system ensures simple updates.

Modular and expandable control system designed for efficient and reliable plant operations, with flexible configuration and optional extensions.

Standard System Components

In its standard configuration, the system already includes the following components specifically for you:

Optional Extensions and Add-On Modules

Depending on your requirements, we can integrate the following extras into the already extensively equipped system:

Process and energy management using a cycle time diagram:

Do you operate a building materials mixing plant and want to ensure you’re using its full potential while saving energy?

Our ‘Playtime Diagram’ software module provides a clear analysis of your production process using real plant data.

It displays all relevant information at a glance, including drive switch-on/off points, dosing sequences, and scale timings. This allows you to identify inefficient timings, bottlenecks, and areas for optimization, helping you reduce energy consumption and improve overall plant efficiency.

Maintenance Tool:

Professional life brings increasing demands, and maintenance of mixing plants is often time-consuming and overlooked. Our ‘Maintenance Tool’ software module simplifies planning, execution, and documentation of maintenance work. Using real plant data—such as drive cycles, operating hours, or concrete output—the tool schedules maintenance, issues reminders, and allows resubmission if work cannot be done immediately. All completed or missed tasks are precisely documented, creating transparency and enabling staff to optimize maintenance processes.

With this tool, avoid preventable breakdowns and ensure your plant is always ready for production.

Schrappersteuerungen IBS33W-S:

Do you operate a star-type scraper system?

Our IBS33W-S scraper control system is the perfect solution for modernizing and optimizing your material feeding process. It integrates fully with existing IBS33W control systems—or works with third-party systems—bringing digitalization, remote monitoring, and fault analysis to your scraper operations.

The system uses a state-of-the-art PLC within the CAN-BUS framework, allowing simple mouse-based operation, real-time safety information, and precise control of material management. Optimized programming ensures high output with minimal operator stress, while remote maintenance support helps avoid downtime.

SPS Typ GC3:

GEDIS proudly introduces the SPS Typ GC3, the third-generation in-house PLC, designed to ensure reliability, flexibility, and innovation in process automation. Developed over years of experience, the GC3 addresses modern challenges such as material bottlenecks, service efficiency, and system compatibility.

The GC3 features a compact, series-installable layout, full CAN-BUS upward and downward compatibility, optimized fault monitoring, and plug-and-play connections. It can directly switch 250V/2A, reducing the need for additional relays, and supports multiple interfaces including Mod-Bus, EtherCAT, 0/4–20mA, 0–10V, PT-100, RS485, and RS232. An upcoming analog/digital converter module (2025) will enable precise dosing and improved fault analysis for weighing systems, further reducing costs and downtime.

Supplementary safety PLC:

The IBS33W control system with PLC coupling for controlling the plant must be operated close to the plant, also due to the requirements of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. As a system integrator, GEDIS uses a high-performance, certified safety system with a safety PLC (made by SICK and Wieland) with safety function modules, a key transfer, magnetic locking or FlexLock system, with safety modules for mixers and safety doors and two-hand local operation of the mixer in accordance with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC for the operation and cleaning of the mixing plant. Machines that are equipped or retrofitted with this technical innovation for occupational safety are safer. The risk of accidents is minimised and operation is simplified.
